By using HuntStash, you agree to these terms. Please read them carefully.

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing and using HuntStash ("the Platform"), you accept and agree to be bound by these Terms of Service and our Privacy Policy. If you disagree with any part of these terms, you may not use our service.

HuntStash is operated by Ekaruz, registered in Nigeria. These terms constitute a legally binding agreement between you and Ekaruz.

2. Eligibility

To use HuntStash, you must:

Be at least 18 years old
Be a resident of Nigeria
Have the legal capacity to enter into binding contracts
Not be prohibited from using the service under Nigerian law
Provide accurate and complete registration information

By creating an account, you represent and warrant that you meet all eligibility requirements.

3. User Account

When you create an account, you agree to:

Provide accurate, current, and complete information
Maintain and update your information to keep it accurate
Maintain the security of your password
Accept all risks of unauthorized access to your account
Notify us immediately of any unauthorized use

You are responsible for all activities that occur under your account. Do not share your login credentials with anyone.

4. Prohibited Activities

You may NOT:

Use GPS spoofing or location manipulation: Any attempt to fake your location is strictly prohibited
Create multiple accounts: One account per person
Share your account: Accounts are non-transferable
Automate claims: No bots, scripts, or automated tools
Exploit bugs: Report vulnerabilities instead of exploiting them
Harass or abuse: No harassment, hate speech, or abusive behavior
Violate laws: No illegal activities or money laundering
Reverse engineer: No attempts to copy or modify our platform

Violation consequences: Account suspension, claim reversal, permanent ban, and potential legal action for fraud.

5. Treasure Claims & Rewards

Location-Based Treasures

You must physically be at the treasure location to claim it
GPS verification is required for all claims
Claims outside the unlock radius will be rejected
Each treasure can only be claimed once per user

Reward Processing

Claims are subject to verification before rewards are credited
Suspicious or fraudulent claims may be held for review (up to 7 days)
We reserve the right to reject claims that violate our terms
Rewards are credited to your HuntStash wallet in Nigerian Naira (₦)
Minimum withdrawal amount: ₦1,000
Withdrawal fees may apply (see pricing page)

Treasure Expiration

Treasures may have expiration dates set by creators
Expired treasures cannot be claimed
Depleted treasures (all claims taken) are no longer available

6. Creating Treasures (For Businesses)

If you create treasures on the platform, you agree to:

Fund cash treasures upfront via escrow
Provide accurate treasure descriptions and reward details
Not create misleading or fraudulent treasures
Honor all rewards as described
Comply with advertising and marketing laws
Not use treasures for illegal or unethical purposes

HuntStash charges a platform fee for treasure creation (currently 10% of escrow amount). Fees are non-refundable.

7. Payments & Withdrawals

All payments are processed securely through Paystack. You agree that:

Withdrawal requests may take 1-3 business days to process
You must provide valid Nigerian bank account details
Phone number verification is required for withdrawals
We may request additional verification for large withdrawals
Withdrawal limits may apply based on account status
Failed withdrawals will be returned to your wallet
You are responsible for any taxes on your earnings

8. Intellectual Property

All content on HuntStash, including logos, designs, text, graphics, and software, is owned by Ekaruz or licensed to us. You may not:

Copy, modify, or distribute our content without permission
Use our trademarks or branding without authorization
Scrape or extract data from our platform
Create derivative works based on our platform

9. Disclaimers

THE PLATFORM IS PROVIDED "AS IS" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND.

We do not guarantee continuous, uninterrupted access
We are not responsible for treasure creators honoring their rewards
We do not guarantee specific earnings or results
Location accuracy depends on your device's GPS
Third-party services (Paystack, Google Maps) are beyond our control

10. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Ekaruz and HuntStash shall not be liable for:

Indirect, incidental, or consequential damages
Loss of profits, data, or goodwill
Service interruptions or errors
Unauthorized access to your account
Third-party actions or content

Our total liability to you for all claims shall not exceed the amount you've earned through the platform in the past 12 months, or ₦10,000, whichever is lower.

11. Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account if:

You violate these Terms of Service
We suspect fraudulent activity
You engage in prohibited activities
Required by law

You may delete your account at any time from your profile settings. Upon termination, your access to the platform will cease, but you may withdraw any remaining wallet balance (subject to verification).

12. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Federal Republic of Nigeria. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of Lagos State, Nigeria.

13. Changes to Terms

We may modify these Terms at any time. Significant changes will be communicated via email or in-app notification. Continued use of the platform after changes constitutes acceptance of the new terms.

The "Last Updated" date at the top of this page indicates when changes were last made.
